My current adventure
In July, I, Ellie Morse, will be relocating my life for 5 months to pursue my calling to missions. In high school, the Lord clearly told me that He made me to a missionary. Over and over He has confirmed that I am called to bring His gospel and justice to the nations. In seventh grade, I got to to Kenya and Tanzania; last year I got to go back to share the Good News with victims of a conflict in Uganda. He has shown me His love, and I truly believe that His love is more powerful than any darkness in the world.
For the past three years I have spent at Lee University preparing to be a missionary. The time has come where I need to pursue this calling with undivided attention and gain more spiritual and practical training. Thus, in July I am moving to the International House of Prayer in Kansas City, MO, to participate in a program called ACTS, or the Antioch Center for Training and Sending. For the first three months, we will be in Kansas City spending hours every day touching the nations through prayer. We will learn in the classroom, and half-way through we will relocate to either Ukraine, Kenya, or Thailand. We could be liberating victims of sex trafficking, AIDS, war, or atheism. Afterwards, I will come back to Lee and finish my degree in Spring 2012.
This blog is to keep all of you updated on my missions adventures. Please pray for me, and pray about supporting me financially. I still have about $5,000 to go.
